It's a Private school in Singapore. Established in 2005, UniSIM is approved by Singapore's Ministry of Education (MOE) to award recognised Singapore degrees.Since July 2008, MOE subsidises tertiary education at UniSIM for eligible adult Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents as part of the national initiative to promote continuing education and training.
It is a member of the International Association of Universities (IAU).

There are four academic schools in UniSIM offering undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes. These are the School of Arts and Social Sciences, the School of Business, the School of Human Development and Social Services, and the School of Science and Technology.

One of the important part of studying in university is the tuition fees.
If you cant afford it, you have to take a loan from the bank(duh~ of course!). But what if you can't get a job in the future?? Although it has a recognised degree certificate, but now in this world have got so many graduates which didn't get a job. This is what I'm worried about.

HOWEVER
Singapore has offered up to 55% subsidy for students there. But only Singapore Citizen or Permanent Residents could get it.

SIM has announced a plan to expand its Clementi campus at a platform topping up ceremony on October 9 2009. The SIM Campus Development Master Plan, which will cost $300 million and be completed by 2014, will be implemented in two phases. It will give an additional 56,000 square meters of space, more than doubling the campus size. The first phase was completed in 2011.
As of 2011, there are more than 11,000 students, compared to 8,000 in 2007. This number is expected to grow to 14,000 by 2020. The Singapore's Ministry of Education announced in 2011 that it would increase student fee subsidy to 55%. To uphold quality and manage space constraint, only half of all applications received are admitted into UniSIM annually.
The new campus extension will allow UniSIM to meet the growing demand for places. To support UniSIM's growth in student population, more staff will also be recruited.
